Athletics Cubed Programs
"The Foundation of Champions."

Young Medalists High Performance is one of the premier junior and U23 coaching programs in the United States. Designed by Olympians, professional cyclists, and leading USA Cycling-certified coaches to maximize performance in competitive road and track cycling for a wide range of young athletes, this year-round program provides expert cycling instruction in an experiential setting that is challenging and competitive, yet fun and personally rewarding.

The programming at Young Medalists High Performance (Young Medalists) is modeled after the system of European cycling clubs that provide for the hierarchical progression of young athletes over a planned length of time and is designed to allow the rider a pace of development and involvement that best suits their age, physical maturity, and level of competitiveness.

Kid on the track with the sunYoung Medalists uses Integrated Performance Management in concert with its proprietary Athlete Performance Plans and the Culture of Five-a visionary axiom for personal development focusing on five powerful fundamentals. Together, the program's cohesive instructional methodology allows young people to test themselves in an environment that is challenging, but supportive, while concurrently focused on personal growth, yet always mindful of the group dynamic and its collective evolution.

Programming at Young Medalists is planned annually around the domestic and international racing calendars in tandem with the athlete's performance objectives. Training and workouts are scheduled in three-month seasonal sessions (Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer) that, combined, make up the annual racing term.

Located just outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania in the beautiful Lehigh Valley, Young Medalists is available regionally through its YM Academy, U23, Sport, Vitesse, and Cadet programs and is accessible to athletes outside of the area via YM SatelliteTM outreach programs. Young Medalists is partnered with the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club to provide an official USA Cycling club option for most athletes involved in the program.
